On April 14th around 1407, department 23 and department 4 responded to a brush fire that occurred near Samsondale Avenue and East Railroad Avenue. Our firefighters responded quickly and put the fire out. With the prevalence of dry weather, there has been a lot of brush fires lately. If you are having a barbecue, smoking cigarettes or having a bon fire, please be careful and make sure your surrounding area does not catch fire. Be safe!
