1st Lieutenant Richard Fenner joined the company in November 2001 and has been a dedicated member ever since. His passion for the fire service began at the age of 6, having witnessed his grandfather, who was a Rockland County Sheriff at the time, run into his neighbor's house when smoke was coming out of the kitchen windows and put the fire out. From that moment, Richard knew he wanted to serve his community as a firefighter. At the first chance he was able to join, he did.
Over the years, Richard has held various positions within Volunteer Hose, Assistant Engineer, Chief Engineer (twice), and 2nd Lieutenant. He currently serves as the company's 1st Lieutenant. He is very excited to one day become the chief of the department.
