Our Heavy Rescue Truck is a specialized vehicle used in firefighting that carries equipment and personnel to respond to emergency situations. It is equipped with hydraulic tools, such as jaws of life, airbags, and cutting equipment, to extract victims from wreckage, and more.

23-1000 faithfully served the Village of West Haverstraw from 1965 until 2000. After being taken out of service 23-1000 now serves as show piece at many company events and parades. Such pride in this piece of equipment an image of this fire truck is worn on our company patch. It also has the highest honor of carrying our members on their final ride after they pass.
